Physical and Chemical Properties:Appears as a white or off-white crystalline powder; odorless, hygroscopic. Highly soluble in water, slightly soluble in methanol, very slightly soluble in ethanol, and insoluble in acetone and ethyl acetate. The pH of a 25% aqueous solution ranges from 4.5 to 6.5. The color of the aqueous solution varies from colorless to light yellow depending on concentration.

Product Use:Raw material for chemical analysis reagents. The antibacterial activity of cefoperazone sodium is similar to that of cefotaxime. It has weaker effects against Gram-positive bacteria, with only hemolytic streptococci and pneumococci being relatively sensitive. For most Gram-negative bacteria, its efficacy is slightly inferior to cefotaxime, but it shows stronger activity against Pseudomonas aeruginosa.
